SteadyTemp is a medical clinical decision support system consisting of a smart sensor patch and a corresponding app for the continuous recording and structured provision of temperature curves.
The sensor measures continuously—regardless of activity or sleep—over a period of up to 10 days. This captures not only individual temperature values but, more importantly, makes trends and dynamic changes visible that are relevant for early risk assessment and the prioritization of clinical measures. Persistent increases or conspicuous developments can be detected promptly and documented seamlessly. Information relevant for decision-making is thus directly available to treating physicians and nursing staff.
The SteadySense patch was developed by biomedical engineers and manufactured in Austria. Data transfer between the patch and the app is contactless, radiation-free, and reliable via NFC technology. SteadyTemp thus supports secure, standardized, and data-driven decision-making in the clinical environment.

Was ist SteadyTemp?
SteadyTemp ist ein CE-zertifizierter, tragbarer medizinischer Sensor-Patch, der Körpertemperatur bis zu 10 Tage kontinuierlich misst. Er wird diskret unter der Achsel getragen und überträgt Temperaturdaten kontaktlos per NFC auf die SteadyTemp App für iOS und Android. Die SteadyTemp App verarbeitet die Temperaturdaten und stellt diese grafisch dar. SteadyTemp wird von der SteadySense GmbH in Österreich entwickelt und hergestellt.
Wie funktioniert der SteadyTemp Patch?
Der SteadyTemp Patch enthält einen Präzisionstemperatursensor, der unter der Achsel platziert wird. Er misst und speichert automatisch in einstellbaren Zeitintervallen die Körpertemperatur. Mittels SteadyTemp App auf einem NFC-fähigen Smartphone können die am Patch gespeicherten Temperaturdaten jederzeit via NFC ausgelesen werden.
Kann SteadyTemp in Krankenhäusern und Kliniken eingesetzt werden?
Ja. SteadyTemp Professional ist für den klinischen Einsatz konzipiert und über HL7/FHIR in Krankenhausinformationssysteme (KIS) integrierbar. Beispielsweise ist es mit Roche cobas® pulse, der März Health Suite und NursIT CareIT-Lösungen kompatibel. Es unterstützt postoperative Überwachung, Onkologie und alle Bereiche mit erhöhtem Überwachungsbedarf.
Kann SteadyTemp in klinischen Studien eingesetzt werden?
Ja. SteadyTemp wird in klinischen Studien eingesetzt, bei denen die Körpertemperatur von Interesse ist. SteadyTemp kann offline verwendet werden, bietet aber auch Tele-Monitoring Möglichkeiten über ein Dashboard sowie Datenexport. Das SteadyTemp Research Kit liefert alles für den Studienstart.
Ist SteadyTemp CE-zertifiziert?
Ja. SteadyTemp ist ein CE-zertifiziertes Medizinprodukt der Klasse Im nach der EU-Medizinprodukterichtlinie (MDD), geprüft von einer Benannten Stelle. Außerdem ist SteadyTemp FDA510k zugelassen. SteadySense GmbH verfügt über ein nach ISO 13485:2016 zertifiziertes Qualitätsmanagementsystem.
Wie lange hält der SteadyTemp Patch?
Jeder SteadyTemp Patch misst bis zu 10 Tage kontinuierlich. Er speichert automatisch Temperaturdaten und kann jederzeit mit der SteadyTemp App auf einem NFC-fähigen Endgerät ausgelesen werden.

Ja. SteadyTemp ist hautfreundlich, strahlungsfrei und kaum spürbar. Er ist für Kinder über 5 Jahre und Erwachsene geeignet. Eltern können Fieber nachts überwachen, ohne das Kind zu wecken.
