1. Scope

This accessibility statement applies to the website www.steadytemp.health, including all subpages and the associated online shop functionality.

SteadySense GmbH, as a company offering products and services to consumers within the European Union, is obliged to meet the requirements of the European Accessibility Act (Directive 2019/882), which has been fully applicable to new products and services since June 28, 2025.

2. Compliance status

The website www.steadytemp.health is currently partially compliant with the WCAG 2.1 Level AA (EN 301 549 v3.2.1) standard.

The areas listed below are not yet fully accessible. The identified deficiencies will be addressed as part of our continuous improvement process.

3. Known accessibility limitations

3.1 Redundant navigation

The alt texts of the app store badges (Google Play, Apple App Store) currently only contain the file name instead of a descriptive text alternative.

3.2 App store badge alt texts

The main navigation menu is output multiple times in the HTML source code by the page builder used (Elementor). This can result in screen reader users hearing the same navigation items multiple times, which limits usability for this user group.

3.3 Color contrasts

The accessibility of the contact form (explicit label associations, error messages for screen readers) has not yet been conclusively tested.

3.4 Form accessibility

Individual color combinations (light text on colored backgrounds) have not yet been fully tested for compliance with the minimum contrast ratio of 4.5:1 (WCAG 2.1 Success Criterion 1.4.3).

3.5 Accessibility of mobile apps

The SteadyTemp app is covered by Directive (EU) 2019/882 as part of the service provision. A formal audit of compatibility with assistive technologies (VoiceOver on iOS, TalkBack on Android) has not yet been conducted and documented.

3.6 Accessibility of the Instructions for Use (IFU)

The publicly accessible Instructions for Use (IFU) for SteadyTemp are available as PDF files. The images contained in the IFU have not yet been fully checked for the presence of meaningful alt texts. A screen reader compatibility test of the IFU pages is still pending.
